or how to use the largest supply of bio-mass in the world...
I have had this vision of folks riding the stationary bikes,and using other gym equipment to
produce electricity. this is not silly it is enviromentally economical. Humanity is the largest form of bio-mass on the planet,and I cannot say it enough.
First to produce all the sugar cane it would take to make enough ethanol to run all the vehicles in the U.S. alone,well it only eases one problem,(being fossil fuel emissions),and creates another,well actually two more,and they are farming runoffs into the oceans which create the dead zones,and erosion.Land that once grew food,will be turned to produce fuel,so there you have it. And it is the same with all things I have heard of.Did you know solar energy,wind,water are all good ideas,however they should have been in use long ago,and they were not put to use,then and should not be used solely,now.Why? Because they cause reflections. Increasing surface temps by deep waters are dark and they cause heat,solar panels shine the uv back up to the atmosphere,and wind generators all cast their reflections about them. So that brings us full square back to humanity. Humans have long been on the earth eating out where ever they have lived,and moving on from one daed place to make another. And since they claim to have human rights as in they are going to stay,not slay theirselves well I thought of a use for us all.That is right a way to JUSTIFY our very exsistance.Which judging by what I hear out of Washington these days is little more than sounding like a I love Lucy rerun with no good resoulution to any problem. Look at it this way,take the lesson of China I learned the other day. The Chinese woman said,"the cars were going to triple in another five to ten years,China wants to be like the States,as do all countries of the world." Not to mention the fact they want to build one fossil-fueled power plant per year until forever to exact the way of life of the Americans. spooky,huh?
So lets all start this,make power using people power! ride the bikes,place pressure points in places of high foot and auto traffic. Let America be truely the home of the free and the brave and let us show the world a new sensation! be like this...we can say! I dare say alot of crime would stop if folks could go someplace close to home ride the bikes,which is good for their bodies,and enviroment,and those who needed it could earn cash! or credit to the debit!
There are so many who would love to have this available to them,and the vast majority of folks do not care to 'race' their autos,they are just trying to get around.All the autos could be run off electricity.All the fossil fuel could become obsolete,not to mention all the up and coming nations out there clamouring for nuclear power plants. Power where there was none before,the availability of water from said power!!
Think about that but don't think too long,the bus is fast approaching that carries us into the times of the forever cat 5 hurricanes and other 'natural' disasters which naturally follow long periods of abuse,naturally.
And in case the idea is too late and we do see more stronger storms of all types,we should include the bike theory for those house hold generators.
