A lot of geothermal energy gets ignored because it's too cold to create steam, i.e., it's under 170 C. Much of this cooler geothermal is very near the surface and is actually quite useful to a blackbody cryonucleator, which needs only a tiny bit of heat to cycle and to produce from 40,000 to 500,000 ft-lbs of energy from each cubic foot of reusable water it uses. So, if you have some of this cooler geothermal under your land, there's definitely a use for it. I drew an illustration at http://www.makehydrogen.com/design.htm ---Dennis
