Denmark is fast approaching its target of 50%
Wind Electric power,,They just built the
second big Offshore Windfarm,each Windcharger
produces 2 mega watts, they have about 20 of
these out in the ocean quietly producing day
and night,,,California has a nice breeze Off
Shore too which we should be using for energy
.Offshore Windfarms can also incorporate new
ocean wave harnessing technology to produce
even more energy from the ocean.Lets Go Solar

Japan is now building offshore Windfarms too,
I like the way Japan is so busy finding the
Way to build a Future which is Sustainable.
there is a website which will send you a
newsletter called "Japan for Sustainability"
JFS.they are trying to reduce the temperature
of their Cities in summer by planting Living
Roofs on all the office buildings and city
public buildings,,these Roof Gardens are used
as living laboratories by City Schools..

That's great. However as someone involved in advanced wind generator design I find it sad that people still think that sticking a propellor up in the air is the most efficient way to harvest wind energy.
BTW, prop-style wind generators are NOT wind turbines. In order to be a turbine, you have to have a pressurizing element such as a scoop or an enclosure. So what is claimed to be "wind turbines" are NOT.
