Hello, I've just joined this forum and this is my first post. For example, you are given the choice to buy organic produce that was grown and transported from a country a long way from your home, which means traffic pollution, or to buy locally produced but un-organic produce which hasn't contributed any traffic fumes but has been treated with loads of chemicals. Which would be the better option? If you had organic local produce that would be perfect, but if faced with the problem above, which would you go for?

I don't think there is any organic produce being imported so your question is moot,of course we all want to support our local organic farmers and if there are no local farmers using organic methods then we must form organic community gardens so that we can protect our health with clean organic local grown produce,Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)is the best way to show our support. look for your local CSA and join up...
