i tried avoiding meat and chicken a few years ago, and failed. i started to feel tired because i think i was not eating well (i was in college and probably did not give it enough effort). Do you think you could give advice about how to avoid meat and chicken while eating foods that provide the nutrition you need? do you need to rely on beans and tofu? are there combinations or veggies that are better than others? i wil probably give it a shot again soon...i would like to be educated better about which foods to eat first.

I think vegetarianism is a great way to protect the planet. raising cattle encourages deforestation, many of the meats and chickens produced may not be too healthy, the local areas around meat factories smell bad, and often the animals are treated very poorly.
