The waves which are in constant motion are a great source of energy which can be harnessed in many different ways to produce electrical energy which could be used by large coastal cities like New York and San Francisco and New Orleans,Miami,etc.in fact alot of cities are situated convieniently near an immensely power source of perpetual power,also the Tide can be trapped behind walls and hydropower can be extracted from it..wonderful and free

Tides are one of the only things in science that can accurately be predicted without the necessity of understanding their mechanism. That gives them the advantage over wind or even wave power, which are less predictable (and more likely to be intermittent)
