Hi,i would recommend studying the worm life
cycle and worm raising before commencing
get a good book on the subject at the library
WORMS EAT MY GARBAGE is a classic but there
are others.the worms will convert one pound
of food scraps into 1/2 pound of castings, the
rate of volume will depend on the food and
the number of worms and moisture and warmth
a steady rate of garbage will produce an opti
mum worm population for each household.
