My name is Dominic and I live in Bellevue, WA. I've always been on the side of the green, but I've never actually actively voiced my opinion on the importance of maintaining the stability of our environment. I'm glad I came across this forum. However the main reason for my post is to spread my opinion about a product has helped me be ecofriendly and cost effective.
I've recently stumbled across a product that I'm pretty excited about for a multitude of reasons, but before I say what it is, I'm going say what it isn't.
It's a not a green product made by a large company hoping to cash in on the earth conscious' dollars. It's not an eco-product that costs twice as much as it's non-eco counterpart. It's not something that the larger corporations are going to want anyone to know about because it's going to save me and my family a lot of money and help cut down polutants.
This product is an infared heater and it's produced by the bEarthWise company. ( www.bEarthWise.com ) <-----Awesome mission statement.
I live in a condo in Bellevue and in the winter my energy bill has been through the roof. It was about a year and a half ago that my brother in Law introduced me to the bEarthWise infared heaters. He's a lawyer specializing in Environmental Law and for some reason he managed to procure one for me as a gift. I plugged that baby in and to my surprise... it worked like a charm. I would have never thought that such a product exists because it doesn't get hot to touch, it simply produces warm air. The big wow to me was when I got my energy bil for the month. My god my bill went down 40%. This coupled with the fact that it doesn't emit any carbon monoxide. Simply put... I love it. It's definately worth checking out at: http://www.bearthwise.com/
then follow the link to infared heaters. for more info on the infared heaters go to: http://ewheaters.com/
At the very least, check them out and you won't be disappointed. cheers,
