Blimey Charlie, trying owning a car in the UK. We pay per litre what you pay for a gallon (ie, 5x as much). We've just got rid of our car, public transport is a bit lacking in these parts, my girlfriend now has to get up at 5.30am to get to work (just ten miles away) at 7.30pm!

I think oil should not be found in the first place. Everything that we see, use or do has connection with oil. And oil is also making some countries filthy rich and arrogant!! Hope the oil will be sucked dry and then we will have better environment.
