The average roof in an area of at least 20"
inches of rainfall per year can collect
enough water for an average family if that
family uses water conserving techniques such
as using the water from showers,laundry and
sinks for their landscaping and using native
plants for landscaping(xeriscaping)and water
conserving fixtures or even no water toilets
such as composting,Solar toilets,and Biogas
generators...
