45 minute Film on Call in the Wilderness: A 45 minute length film, entitled CALL IN THE WILDERNESS was recently produced by the Human Development International Vanguard Corps for Peace and Development. It's an in-house video film production where members of the Corps pooled talents to produced said film under the tutolage of John Ryan Largo, its Chairperson who has been a Film Director/Producer of the United Nations.
All presentors on the film are members of the Corps' youth volunteers with age ranging from 13-19 years of age. The film has adopted a revolutionary and innovative format that depicted mountain and mountain people issues that will shock viewers. The main presentors comprise of Ian Jon Mendoza, Calbert Dagatan and Sharon Rejas. While Marc Colinares and Nina Landicho made the call in the film that was choreograph with a song rendition by Glen villasica accompanied by April Donzal and Gregorio Cagula! Charmain Castro HDI USA also made and endorsement and appeal to the people to fulfill one's obligation in one's shared responsibility and accountability as caretaker of mother nature and towards enhancing people lives. The film is part of a media advocacy material that will be used in community-to-community presentation as well as aired on television and telecasted on cable TV. The film is educational and entertaining, - and shows that youth can be an important movers for change towards sustainable mountain development.
