I would like to know if people trust the quality of tapwater, bottled water, or any water that is not filtered or purified by you in your home. I don't see any discussions about this and I think it is equally as important if not more so, than issues of what we eat. Even if the "water regulations" are strict, how do you know the path your water takes to your glass? Sorta like not knowing if the cook in the restaurant drops your food and still puts it on your plate... Anybody? Thanks:-) Michelle Posts: 1 | From: Sitka AK USA | Registered: May 2002

At home we boil our tap water, then bottle it and put it in the fridge. The water quality in our home town is very hard and smells strongly of Chlorine. By boiling it you kill some of the bad chemicals which may be lurking! ~Thanks~

I don't trust the tap water or bottled water. There is not a lot of regulations on bottled water so what is to make them keep their water good. And the tap water has too much chlorine in it. The best way to check for chlorine is to buy an OTO test kit at any pool and spa store. Just drop a few drops into your water and wait for the results. I would definitely suggest a water filter and one that lets you know when the filter needs to be replaced.
