God spilt is a very serious and completely overlooked topic concerning the future of our oceans. Chemicals used for farming, mixed with a dangerous disregard for the enviroment means farmers are dumping PPPs and who knows what else in our oceans. Red algae thrive on this and spread at an alarming rate when they are presented enough of this. Funnily enough, they have far more than they need to survive and the North Sea is thick with it at the moment. When this algae reaches an excess of 3,000,000 per square metre light is completely cut off to the water below and all life under the algae dies. Surely a chemical tax should be introduced by the government ensuring a depletion of God Spit and indeed a revolution in the way crops are treated. Ben.
