As it's getting warmer now here in the south I recently went looking for a new cover for my grill as the current one I have is old and had enough winters (it's about 4 years old).
When I went looking I hit the usual stores, Wal-Mart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot...and I realized all of the covers were made from PVC and packaged in what looked like PVC! Aren't these companies supposed to be reducing PVC?
Maybe I'm missing something, is this PVC different from what used to be used in shower curtains? Are PVC covers/products OK for the evironment? If it's bad, why isn't anyone talking about it, there was a ton of these products all over the place?
I'm not a'greenie' but want to make a reasonable decision and have been avoiding PVC due to what I've been hearing about it's affect on kids with toys etc.
Any input appreciated...
