Australia's marine wonderland is under huge threat and I'm not sure that Australians are doing too much about it.

This is the world's biggest and most bio-diverse World Heritage Area yet they are still scraping up the sea floor (and turtles) with trawl nets and allowing millions of tonnes of chemicals and sediments to pour into the reef lagoon.

Coral bleaching caused by global warming could kill the whole lot within a human lifetime, that's if it isn't all eaten by Crown of Thorns starfish that are thriving due to human polluton and over-fishing.

I urge you to help save the reef. You can lobby governments and make your voice known through the WWF campaign site at www.gbr.wwf.org.au - it's got a new forum too.

Please help us save the reef.
